Hi team,
I am working on case: 00188973 where the customer want to get a real time email notification when a any user logs in to the firewall via GUI or CLI.
Do we have any such feature available now on PA Box.
If not, DO we need to raise a feature request for this.

Hello Sabyasachi,
A login event to either cli or web interface will be written as a system log.You can configure the system logs to be forwarded as email using log setting under device.
Hope this helps.

Hi Yashwant,
I already gave this information to the customer. Can we get these logs real time or we can only have the scheduling option.

Sabyasachi

Hello schatterjee,
Yes the email alerts about the system logs are Real time. Generally networks use the High, critical severity logs as email to see if the device is stable or to know the live status of the device.
Thanks

You could also do this with syslog. Send the system logs to a syslog server, which filters out the login event and sends a formatted e-mail. By sending the system logs, you'll get a lot more than only login events.
