I read through the document regarding the creation of a custom application for Google image search, and it works most of the time. I am curious though if Palo Alto has any plans to add this kind of functionality for all of the major search engines and their image search. Our previous proxy solution allowed us to do some cookie voodoo that forced safe searches on for all major search engines, the user could try to turn it off but the cookie would be re-written to enable safe search once a search was attempted.
Since it was seamless to the user it did not generate helpdesk calls like a blocked page message would.
Thanks.

Glad to hear that the custom AppID is working for you. You can also check out this post on controlling Bing image search in addition to Google:

The method you mentioned involves url rewrite where an existing cookie is rewritten to something else. We currently do not have support this url rewrite feature. You can submit a feature request to your Palo Alto sales team for this.
