Hi,
why do you thing about an attack ? is it happen a lot, many time per minutes ?
Else, as explain Nadir, it's just a password error.
Are you using auto-login ? Are you using dynamic password ?

GP portal uses Port 443 by default .For allowing uninterrupted access to GlobalProtect IP address, configured on Public Interface, port 443 needs to be allowed at all times.
If you see these messages more frequently from unknown/random usernames , you may consider blocking port 443 using security rule and changing the GP Portal port to a non-default port.
