Global Protect Gateway License

L2 Linker

Just a question about Global Protect Gateway License. Currently we're planning to deploy PA-5050 for our Data Center Infrastructure. Is Global Protect Gateway License is a requirement? For what I've understand, this is only a requirement if you're going to use remote access or SSL VPN but since this is only for our internal security and no remote access needed this license I believe is not needed anymore. Can someone provide their opinion about licensing?

Thanks,

Erwin

I would contact your sales team for a better answer, however here is what the licenses cover:

GlobalProtect Licenses

I dont have the licenses and we can still use VPN for both site to site and use Global Protect for users VPN access.

It doesnt sound like you need it, so skip it for now.

Hi Erwin,

If you are planing to use single gateway. than GP license is not required.
