HA connection across WAN?

Hi Crauigmueller,

Yes, many customer has HA accross WAN. However there is no specific configuration for it. It follows regular HA configuraiton. Let me know if this helps.

Do you just need to setup a vlan to go across the WAN between the closest switch on both sides?

Yes, you just need regular connectivity between both the peers.

Are you saying a vlan is not required?  Forgive my networking ignorance.

It depends on network topology, its not a mendatory thing.

If you can connect without VLAN than fine.

NOTE: If you use Cisco switches, disable IGMP snooping. This is not required but it's just an advice.
