We have something of a sporadic issue. When some users connect to the VPN with GP their throughput drops to about a meg. It's just a handful of users. My home ISP, Metronet works just fine, a user a few miles away, also Metronet has this slow down so bad it's not usable. It's not just Metronet, we have seen this on AT&T and several other ISPs. We have tried setting the MTU to 1200, disabling IPv6. We are using the current version of the client.

Hi @dale.miller ,

Assuming that all users are connected to the same gateway, do these users also experience throttled throughput without being connected to GlobalProtect?

I would first establish a baseline without GlobalProtect. Id also take note of what OS the effected users are on. Are there similarities there?

Intermittent issues affecting a select few users are always trickier to troubleshoot than widespread ones, especially when those users are looking for answers. To get the most data to understand at what layer you should troubleshoot next, run a couple of packet captures. One for the users to the gateway and the other for users connected to GP and going out to the internet to see what that packets say.
