How much data do I need to give log disk in Panorama if I use PALO ALTO NETWORKS LOGGING SERVICE?

L3 Networker

How much data do I need to give log disk in Panorama if I use PALO ALTO NETWORKS LOGGING SERVICE? Can I give it no disk for logs? Is it possible to forward all Firewall logs to Panorama then to forward to Logging Service?

Thanks

Hmn ... I would say you don't need any if you configure your firewalls to send logs directly to logging service. In this case you have to configure your panorama to "management only" mode.

Starting with 8.1 you can confogure the firewalls to send logs to logging service and your panorama, in this case the log disk size depends how long you want to store the logs also in your panorama.

Assume this is virtual panorma? In legacy mode or panorama mode?

There are specific requirements set for disk space for each mode.

In legacy mode, the default disk also stores logs so you shouldn't need anything else.

In panorama mode, I'm pretty sure you have to attach a log disk. Each log disk is 2Tb.
