We are having issues with students playing google pacman and Atari Breakout on google images .
Has anyone got any suggestions on how to block these ?

I took a quick look at the sources that actually pull those games and it doesn't look like it would actually be that terrible to block them, but Google certaintly didn't make it very easy.
The big question however is going to be whether or not you are decrypting traffic so that you can actually see the full URL? As long as you are then this is possible and we can work on verifying what you need to do to do so; if not then you won't be able to accomplish this.

Hi
Yes we are decrypting traffic.

I also took a short look at that and it looks like you could block access to:
https://www.google.com/logos/2010/pacman10-i.html
https://www.google.com/logos/2010/pacman10-hp.html
Or even better: Block only the required javascript so everyone is able to open the pacman website but cannot play 😉

... Atari Breakout seems to be a little more tricky to find a good way to block while analyzing the website on a smartphone 😛
So far I see the possibility with a custom application that blocks the HTTP get param "atari breakout" on google websites.

Hi Thank you
We will try this out .
The Atari breakout is a problem, but we view it as a classroom management issue.
