Do you have a device that has multi-vsys enabled, if so then you might have to run following commands :

# show vsys vsys1 rulebase security

Hi Lewis,

Could you please explain in detail for your requirement? Do you want to export just the users from an existing policy? One of the way of doing that would be following :

> set cli config-output-format set

> configure

# show rulebase security

This will show you security policy of the device. You can copy the line that refers to user. If you want to modify and import it on a different device, you can do that via a text editor. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Basically have a few security rules that have 50 plus users in each and have a request to provide all the users in the rule. Looking for a shortcut instead of manually typing them out.

In that case above steps will help you getting those configs from security policy. Thank you.

not having any success with # show rulebase security command. when i type show and type ? there is no rulebase security as an option. Am I missing something?
