I wonder if anyone can give suggestion whether we can change hard disk 1 to 2TB since logs all forwarded to hard disk 1?

You can add 2nd disk with large volume, and copy data from 1st to 2nd disk.
After that, you can swap 2nd disk as 1st disk.
