Is the configuration pushed on the device from Panorama synchronised between the active and the passive unit?

L3 Networker

Hello,

I noticed that the configuration done on Panorama is not synchronised between the active and the passive firewall in a HA pair. So is there any solution to push the configuration at the same time on the too unit ( not to be compelled to make commit for every memeber in a group on panorama).

Asia.

Oh I see,

I misunderstood you question.

If you want to push a commit to all devices in a device group at the same time, simply got to the Panorama tab, click on managed devices, then go to the bottome of the page and change the "Group by" drop down to "device group".

Now you should be able to click commit only one time for the device group that you wish and the commit will be pushed to all of the devices in the device group.

thanks,

Hello Asia,

you can take the active and passive device out of the device group they are currently in and then add them to their own device group.

Hello swhyte,

The tow firewalls (active/passive) are already in a device group on panorama, the problem is that wehne i make a commit all on the active, the passive don't receive the same configuration until i make the same action for it (commit all from panorama). I dont understand the solution that you porposed.

regards.
