Hi
If you need to be able to run without java (or older java) you can extract the installer files and manually install the client to your machines. Afterward you can manually launch them from the start menu.

I have tried install by my self , and manually launch the SSL-client from the start menu.
But it stilll not work ...

Release notes for version 3.1.6, 3.1.8 and 4.0 clearly state the incompatibility issue.
Development Dept. at PaloAlto has not provided workaround or fix.

Hi,
We've the same problem and I've tried with PANOS 3.1.3 and SSL-VPN 1.0.3 and it doesn't work with java 1.5.
By now, we can't resolve this incident.
