I am looking for a method to send a notification by email when authentication to the firewall management is attempted but fails. It would be acceptable to get an email for successful authentications as well. Overall I am looking for methods to help ensure someone isn't trying to gain unauthorized access and be notified when potential unauthorized attempts occur.

The authentication failure logs show up under system logs with the severity as informational.Create an email server profile under Device-server profiles and assign this profile to the log settings which can be found under Device->log settings->system click on informational severity and assign the email profile.
