Maximum life-time of SSLVPN

Not applicable

Hi all.

I have 3 questions about SSLVPN session time-out.

1. MAXIMUM LIFE-TIME of SSLVPN session?

2. What are the default values of Login life-time and Inactivity logout if it isn't set.

3. The meaning of "Logout/Expiration" and "TTL" come out by "show ssl-vpn current-user.

Thanks.

MAX lifetime is 30 days

the default is lifetime of 3 days, inactivity 3 hours

logout/expiration is the exact time the session will terminate if kept alive due to mx lifetime reached, TTL is the same value in seconds remaining

I 'm running into a problem with SSL-VPN clients getting terminated with in 20mnts. Wether being idle or active with traffic tranversing the gateway. I'm not sure what is going on here. I tweaked the hourly time-out to 10hrs from 3hrs default but doesn't seem to help.

Running 1.3.1-3 on client, Gateway is 4.0.4.

Please let me know if anyone else is seeing the same and possibly have a resolution.

Thanks & Regards

Junaid

If in fact the settings are set to above 20 minutes and you are seeing your sessions terminated at the 20 minute mark its prudent to contact support. This trouble shooting path will likely require pcaps and extensive review of the logs.
