Heya All,
I've been testing out minemeld and have it a bit of a brick wall.. When I attempt to create a new miner node via CONFIG > NEW, it completes successfully but the node cannot be found listed under nodes so I cannot add it as an input to the inboudaggregator.
I have reviewed all the log files and couldn't find any relevant errors.. Has anyone else experienced something similar or have any idea on what could be causing the issue?
Thanks!

I also cannot create a miner node. The instructions given here (https://live.paloaltonetworks.com/t5/MineMeld-Articles/Adding-a-Miner-to-the-default-config/ta-p/720...) reference a "+" button that does not exist in my UI.
Frustrating when the documentation is split accross live articles and message boards and the doc is out of date. Not sure what to do with this product if I can't add a miner from an existing prototype.

Hi @cmiller,
thanks for pointing this out, I will update the article.
You can create the miner from a prototype in 2 ways:
- click on the hamburger icon in the bottom right, select the prototype you are interested in from the library and then click Clone at the top right of the prototype page
- click on the eye button in the bottom left part of the CONFIG page and the + button will appear (this is the advanced mode, useful when you already know the prototype you want to use)

Thanks for your quick reply, enabling the expert mode worked. If I may be so bold as to provide some user feed back, I don't think something as simple as a node add should be a hidden "expert mode" option. (if anything, loading or appending entire configs should be relegated to expert mode) . Also the word "clone" is not used consistently with other Palo Alto products, where it makes an exact copy of the object. Really, "clone" and "new" seem to me like they would do the inverse of their current functions ("clone" seems like it should clone or copy the prototype, where as "new" creates a new miner from the prototype). Just my $.02.

Hi @cmiller,
please be bold ! We are always interested in feedback.
To use the + sign to add node you should already know the prototype you want to use. That's the why this is "expert mode". The hamburger button instead lets you browse the prototype library and check all the available prototypes with description.
Thank you for your comment on New and Clone, we will work on it.
