MSMQ (TCP1801) - Unknown TCP

L0 Member

Hi guys,

I have an issue allowing traffic between different components of the SolarWinds on port TCP/1801 for the application "Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ)". The traffic is recognized as unknown-tcp. I tried to identify an application that could match msmq but no success. Since this is Microsoft app, I'm pretty sure I miss something since I cannot spotted out in the list of recognized PA application.  I try to avoid creation of the custom app-id, could you please give me a hint how can I sort it out?

Thank you in advance!

if it is showing up as unknown-tcp this means there is no signature available to identify the traffic

you will need to create a custom app-id or reach out to support to have the app added
