NFR VM-Series Firewall

L1 Bithead

Hi,

I am new in Palo Alto Networks and have few questions about NFR VM-Series Firewall. Hope you can help or guide me please.

1) How to get NFR VM series licenses?
2) What are the options for NFR VM?
3) How to license them?

I do have partners login but currently doesn't have an access to support portal.

1) you need to be a partner, customers can't get these (NotForResale means they can't sell it to customers, it's intended for partner lab)

2) it is exactly the same as a regular VM, it is just a different licensing scheme (price) for non-production lab equipment

3) nfr is the name of the license

To get it, you need to get in touch with your sales contact

Hi Reaper,

Thanks for the reply. Regarding point #3. Once we get the NFR VM-Series Firewall, the procedure of activating/registering it is the same by going to support portal, right?

Yes
