No change in retention of summary log after the log storage allocation update

 Current panorama and log-collector issues

Panorama – mgmt. server only –  SW-version: 9.1.12-h3

Log-collectors :

PAN02- – PAN03 –  same SW version as Panorama

1.The summary log retention days did not change after the log storage allocation update

PAN02> show log-diskquota-pct

cfg.diskquota.pct.config: 25.000

cfg.diskquota.pct.detailed: 80.000   --à this was reduced from 90

cfg.diskquota.pct.external: 0.100

cfg.diskquota.pct.infra_audit: 4.000

cfg.diskquota.pct.platform: 0.100

cfg.diskquota.pct.summary: 15.000  -à this was increased from 5 , however the summary storage days still remain the same --- “summary storage   = 106 days”

cfg.diskquota.pct.system: 30.000

2. Seeking for advice on better log collector storage utilization

Same disk size has been assigned to both LC, but detail log days on PAN02 is 300+, while PAN03 is 200+

Would like this to be more balance to have similar days for detail log

Hello @Pras

if you are not seeing changes taking affect, are you sure you committed and pushed configuration to log collector under: Commit > Push to Devices > Collector Groups ?
