Hi Folks,
We have VM-100 deployed in the Google cloud. Tried to download new PAN-OS version for firewall upgradation. But we are facing the below issue
"Failed to download file".
We are using Management interface to communicate with the Global Google DNS server, Palo Alto update server.
Able to download dynamic updates, DNS lookup on the firewall was working fine.
The firewall rule on the google cloud is also configured to allow all_all traffic in both directions.
But we had checked the same on our physical firewalls and getting the same error. Suspecting that this is like an global issue.
Is any one facing the same issue.
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Tom
Checked the DNS resolution on the firewall and the firewall is able to communicate with the update server. We could also see the session with the application name on the firewall and also the bytes count were increasing.
Tried to manually upload the PAN-OS version we re getting error "upload file size exceeded system limit"
Checked the disk-space on the firewall and the diskspace utilization was very less.

Hi @tamilvanan ,
I get that occasionally also. What has worked for me is to click Check Now again, and then the download works. I don't know if the link to the file has changed or what, but it works.
Thanks,
Tom
