Hi Guys,
we have a problem: if a pc is in the lan, behind the firewall, we are not able to log in to office365, but if we use an external connection it works.
i don't see any log with application containing 'office'
We have not decryption enabled, PA-3020 with 7.1.14
Do you have any hint?
Regards,
Daniele

Enable interzone-default logging with log-start and log-end both checked. Then attempt to login from one computer; you'll then be able to search the unified logs for (addr in a.b.c.d) and see if the firewall is actively stopping this traffic for any reason. Chances are this is being identified as on of the 'ms-office365' applications and this isn't getting allowed via your security policy.

Hi @BPry,
thanks for your suggestion, i did an on-top rule for one pc to do tests, and checked both log at session end and start, and effectively now i see some logs, with 'ms-office365-base' going through the firewall, allowed.
i will go for a packet capture, now that i have the destination IP, but i don't know how useful it could be..
Regards,
Daniele

Just FYI I wouldn't count on the destination IP staying the same throughout your logging. It may be best to log on both the firewall and the actual PC in question.
