Hello,

is it necessary to use Numbered Tunnel-IP confuguration when running OSPF over a VPN line?

As well as my knowledge. if you want monitor (enable monitor profile)  than its required.

Hello, Tunnel interface ip is only needed if you want to use tunnel monitoring.

OSPF routes do not need an ip for tunnel interface.
