Hi All,
We have a dead PA5050 device due to double failure of PSU.
One day failed first power supply and PA5050 worked fine on remaining only. A day after failed second power supply and PA5050 died.
As soon as our support contract ended we can not ask support team directly neither we can not open the case.
Could it be that somebody know how to repair PA5050 PSU or have an electric scheme for it. We assume that both of them died due to overhead.
Maybe there is a part number for PSU and it is still possible to buy a new one even PA5050 platform is no longer available.
Maybe it is possible to buy an old one from ebay, amazon, aliexpress(pieces for repair)
We have found something on ebay but they have Rev 2.3 and our PSU have Rev 2.2. How it is critical?
I have attached a photo for our power supply[1] if needed.
We would kindly appreciate any help!
Many thx!
Best regards
Victor Kotlyar

Many thx for all replies.
We were able to run PA5050 on one PSU only. So if there are two and one of them is broken the device is not able to start.
So if there is a problem with one PSU it needs to be removed as soon as possible.
We are looking for the replacement on the eBay.
Best regards
Victor

Hello there.
We are fellow engineers like yourself, so if you can source an alternative, by all means.
I do not think the rev is important as much as making sure the voltage/amps/etc are exact match.
Any other questions we can answer?
