Hello PA community,
Customer run an internal scan where it turned out Panorama is running on an End of Life Hypervisor (CentOS 8).
Indeed, we can notice this as mentioned on below doc:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/workloads/centos/centos-end-of-life
*CentOS 8 - December 31, 2021
we checked the below compatibility matrix and we see that the last version is CentOS 8 which is supported by Panorama Hypervisor
https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/compatibility-matrix/panorama/panorama-hypervisor-support
The question is : As this is an EOL operating system what we can do to use a supported hypervisor which is not EOL?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Best regards.

Hello @RomainCouvreur
Currently, there are no actions that can be taken for the panoramas running Centos 8. What is more important is the end-of-life (EOL) status of the software used by Panorama rather than the underlying operating system.
Best regards
