Problems with Windows Update and SSL decryption since last Update to Windows Update-Agent 7.6.7600.320

Since the Update Windows Update-Agent 7.6.7600.320, Windows is not able to search for new updates.

Windows Error Code 80072F8F .

Disabling SSL decryption it works.

Enabled it works not.

PANOS 5.0.10

What has chaged in the microsoft updates and how to solve it ?

Hello Joerg,

There are some applications that do not play nice when SSL decryption is turned on, on the PA firewall. Here is a reference document, we've already identified that should be excluded from decryption:: List of Applications Excluded from SSL Decryption

Example:

5	update.microsoft.com	ms-update
6	www.update.microsoft.com	ms-update
7	activation.sls.microsoft.com	ms-product-activation
