Recommended stable release for PAN-OS 8.0.x

L2 Linker

Hi,

I am planning on updating PAN-OS on our Panorama virtual machine and our two firewalls and would like to know what the most stable release for PAN-OS 8.0.x is? Any help with this query would be greatly appreciated.

@MichaelWrigh,

I belive that 8.0.8 has been moved to the recommended status by TAC; but you might want to run that by your SE and just have them verify.

been running 8.0.8 for 2 weeks now, no issues so far !

currently 8.0.6-h3, 8.0.7 and 8.0.8 are all recommended releases

Thank you very much for all the responses to my query. First time i have posted too! I am impressed with the speed you all got back to me.

is it now 8.0.10?

@googol

8.0.10 just came out last week (early this week?). I highly doubt that 8.0.10 would be moved into recommended status in that amount of time. 8.0.9 is that latest recommended release that I've had verified through TAC

i can confirm 8.0.9 is the latest recommended release

It would be good to have a Recomended Column in the software list.
