We have a PA5050 device with PremiumSupport expired on 2012-12-19T00:00:00.
We could not open support case because of this.
Our configuration include single PA5050 device with one SSD drive.
on Jun 10 00:14:08 our device became unavailable and died (the day of PAN OS 7.0 announcement?!).
We have detected that something happened to the SSD drive OCZ DENEVA DENCSTE251M21-0120-P.
We could not connect it to any other SATA interface and there are no any messages on the PA5050 console at boot time about SSD.
On the SSD drive we have records like HAWK 4.0.1 720-000023-002.
We assume that SSD drive is dead with all information on it.
Is there any way to restore the functionality of our device?
We do not have too much money to buy a new one only for hard drive replacement or to buy support for 3 years (2012-2015) just to open support case.
Is it possible to get for free the latest available for our expired PremiumSupport PAN OS version (hard drive image) and write it to the SSD drive (which we could buy ourselves)?
Or maybe there are any other way to solve the problem. We do not need any new functionality and only want to restore the old one.
Many thanks
Best regards,
Victor

Hello! You should buy a spare pre-imaged HDD, PAN-PA-5000-SSD-120-IMG - there is no option to get a software image to be written to 3rd party SSDs. Please check https://paloaltonetworks.com/content/dam/paloaltonetworks-com/en_US/assets/pdf/technical-documentati... , Replacing a Failed SSD in a System with Only 1 SSD on page 8.
