Hi,
We are using PA-500 firewall and our download/upload speed is 100/42.
We have subscribed for Acronis Cyber Protect cloud backup of all our servers. we are facing slow upload speed like 600 kBps while doing backup on Acronis data center. what needs to be check on firewall and how we can increase the upload speed?
can we allocate dedicated upload speed in firewall to particular Acronis DC?

What sort of inspection are you doing on the traffic, and is that inspection actually required on backup traffic for your organization?
Clients that rely on cloud backup solutions we've always sat down and had a conversation about how much inspection is actually required on the traffic. If they have a good endpoint solution already analyzing malicious traffic, do they feel the need to attempt to scan backup data with the firewall? If they are doing decryption is it actually needed? Do you need to do any sort of inspection on the solution, or can you build out a rule to bypass any sort of firewall inspection and override the application so your just passing traffic to help with backup times?
This is all something that you need to determine within your organization and isn't a once size fits all solution. I'm not sure how Acronis actually transfers data, but I'd be really thinking about whether I actually need to inspect this traffic.

@Mitul.Pansuriya - Curious if you resolved this? We are experiencing the same thing. However, we don't have any inspection profiles turned on for any DRaaS and/or BaaS services that we trust.
