What is the recommended firewall solution to provide an accurate username in a Citrix environment that will have multiple users accessing a server at the same time?

The Palo Alto Terminal Server Agent is the tool you are looking for.
You need to register these agents on each firewall (cluster) you need the information on. Sharing the user ID information between the firewall systems doesn't seem to work.
