Sophos HIP Requirement for GlobalProtect

Not applicable

Trying to add Sophos End Point Security and Control as a HIP requirement to be installed for users connecting with GlobalProtect. Sophos End Point Security and Control is not showing up as a vendor in the list. Sophos Antivirus is in the list but is not recognized and fails the HIP requirement when connecting.

Has anyone seen this issue?

Hi DDavis,

Sophos End Point Security and Control is still not in the list, so firewall should not be able to enforce HIP based on that. But Sophos Antivirus is in the list and should work as expected. Could you check following :

1. GP Licensing

2. When GP client connects, check under Host State if it is listed under there

3. Check on Monitor -> HIP Match to see if you see any information regarding to Sophos there

4. There are few variants of Sophos, try changing it to closest match, commit and see if that makes any difference.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
