Working with two PA-5260 to forward syslog to a remote servers on different networks. Set with default max logging rate is 50k.
For PA-A log-receiver stats show log incoming and written rates around 2k and under External Forwarding stats the syslog send rate(last 1 min) is 100.
For PA-B log-receiver stats show log incoming and written rates around 300 and syslog send rate(last 1 min) is 15k.
Looking for help to isolate what could be influencing the difference with the send rates.

are the configurations identical on both devices? no additional filters or log types removed on one device?

Thanks for the response. Yes, everything appears the same. I'm getting the same logs to our remote syslog servers on both networks, however the one with the low send rate arrive delayed. Looks like the logs queue faster than the can send and arrive delayed.
