We are getting continuous alert from the firewall (SYSTEM ALERT : high : cdb: Exited 4 times, waiting 510 seconds to retry), Anybody is having any idea or came across similar alerts.

i opened the case and the tac engineer cleared the Correlation folder and restarted the cdb process. This solved the issue.

Hi,

 

It means your correlation database is corrupted and new correlation events won't be generated anymore. You can try restarting the process to see if it helps, but in my case a support engineer had to log in as root to delete the corrupted MongoDB files.

Thank you so much for your reply. i am going to open a case with support.

In the case I have, there was cdb corruption, but this was most likely due to the /opt/panlogs/ partition being 100% full.
