Tag Static Routes that are Redistributed by OSPF

L1 Bithead

I need to tag static routes that are being redistributed by OSPF but I am getting confused on where the tag should be applied. Does the tag need to be applied in Virtual Router -> Redistribution Profile -> OSPF Filter -> Tag or does it need to be specified in the OSP Export Rules in Virtual Router -> OSPF -> Export Rules -> New Tag?

In the redistribution profile, you are defining the source of the prefix (static) and the destination subnet.

On OSPF-Export Rules, you will associate the redistribution profile and assign a type and a tag.

Or you can just add a subnet directly on the OSPF-Export Rules and include a type and tag. You don't have to use a redist profile.
