Hello
we are planning to migrate from PAN OS 7.1 to 8.1. Is there a document or a list of tests that we can do to check if the migration was successful ?
I mean we can obviously test if some critical servers are reachable but still any template would help here.

It's probably best if you build one yourself as you'll want to go about testing the services that are critical to your business
Virtually nothing will change on the firewall: new features will become available but these will not be enabled by default. The release notes mention which things to be mindful of when upgrading in case some functionality has changed
After the upgrade you'll want your server/applications team to run through a few tests to make sure their services are acting as expected
