Are there any "gotchas" as far as going from the later 4.1 versions to the latest 5.0 version that anyone has experienced?

Hello Cparrish,
You are correct, you need to install only 5.0.11.
Thanks

Hello Sir,
You have to download the 5.0.0 base image before install the latest release on 5.0.x. You can go through the release notes of that PAN-OS version before installing, it will have all information.

I upgraded our 4.1 appliances to the 5.0.6 last year and later up to 5.0.9.
You do need to download and upgrade to 5.0 first. This requires a reboot.
Then a second upgrade to your desired final version of 5.0.11 with a second reboot.

Ok, I have already both downloaded....so installation of both are required or just 5.0.11? Documentation saying to just install the latest as long as you have the base 5.0 downloaded.
Im going to guess ~ 30 minutes of downtime?
