Hi Folks,
We are in the process of evaluating Palo Alto. Can folks share some of their experiences on how to manage resources between Vsys? How do you manage Vsys 6 only gets x% of CPU etc...vs what other Vsys's are allowed. What is the max number of Vsys PA supports and what sort of numbers of Vsys do folks have in production...
thanks,
"newbie"

Hi Newbie,
I hope you like the product so far
To answer your questions:
At this point you are able to control the numbers of session per vsys. Other resources that you want to share will be made configurable in the next version(s) of the product. Contact you local sales team for information about this.
The maximum number of vsys that is available is depending on the model that you want to buy. The maximum number of vsys instances that you can have is 125. This number is likely to change to a higher value in the future.
Hope this helps.
Marcel
