you'll need to remove the panorama ip/fqdn from the firewall and disable the panorama config

when asked you need to decide if you want to import the panorama config to local config, or discard, and then commit changes

depending on which parameters are copied to local and need to be committed (security policy/NAT/virtual router config, interfaces) there will be an outage

@BK0007,

I would recommend you to keep rollback plan ready  in case of any disaster situation. I had experienced issues in my environment while performing same task.

You should be good with the procedure and precautionary steps that are given by @reaper . In case, if you still need clarity on the steps to be followed, please refer below article,

Hope it helps!

What will be best practice to perform activity to have no downtime?

There are too many variables to give you a one stop answer to that

It depends on the config elements that need to be replaced with local config

Any routing changes will cause routed to restart

Security rules are less impactful if you time it right and if you

Nat rules could break sessions

If you can transition gradually that would cause least impact but will take more time
