Release Date: 2016-07-19
How to update:
Starting from this release we have switched to a new, more reliable update mechanism where the 1st stage of the installation is based on APT. New installations will use the new mechansim. To update an existing installation to MineMeld 0.9.18 you should enable the new update mechanism running the following commands:
$ sudo add-apt-repository -ry ppa:adiscon/v8-stable $ wget -qO - https://minemeld-updates.panw.io/gpg.key | sudo apt-key add - $ sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://minemeld-updates.panw.io/ubuntu trusty-minemeld main" $ sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -y minemeld
Nodes:
- now you can export indicators in STIX/TAXII format using the TAXII output nodes
Prototypes:
- rather obviously, we have added prototypes for the new TAXII DataFeed Output nodes

Since the tool updates itself, it would be nice if one of the GUI screens displayed the current version. The only way I currently know of verifying the current version would be to connect via CLI. I'm thinking a box on the system screen would be a great place for it.
Keep up the great work!!!

Hi Greg,
if you click on MINEMELD on the UI you are sent to the About page where the current version is displayed. I know, it looks like an easter egg 🙂

I learn something new every day 🙂
Think I will go home now before I overexert myself.
Thanks!!!

I'm fairly certain I have something amiss here I am not entirely sure what it is. Any ideas?
