Whis is it that I get deny and not-applicable and why is it that destination interface is missing from as shown below

if you deny a connection in an early stage (at first security pass when you're still checking for the destination port etc) there is no app-id yet (as you're blocking a SYN packet) so the application will be logged as not-applicable
same for the destination interface: if the firewall is already blocking the connection at a really early stage, there's no need for a forward route lookup to determine the egress interface
