GlobalProtect 5.2.13-418 Password Not Saving on macOS Sequoia 15.5 – Windows Unaffected

L0 Member
Hey everyone, running GlobalProtect 5.2.13-418 on macOS Sequoia 15.5, and it refuses to save my password. Every time I connect, it prompts me again, which is annoying for daily use. On Windows, it saves just fine with the same setup. Anyone else facing this? Tried reinstalling, no luck. Keychain issue maybe?

You could consider switching to SAML authentication and maybe authentication cookies to bridge the gap?

Saving passwords locally sounds like a breach waiting to happen....

@soalasmari,

GlobalProtect 5.2 has been end of life for over a year, so I would really recommend getting them to upgrade you to a supported agent for starters. I don't believe that macOS 15 was ever actually supported by the 5.2 agents either, so I'm not really shocked you're seeing issues.

Personally I would see not being able to save your password as a good thing, that isn't functionality that I have ever left enabled on a portal.
