GP VPN unable to connect on linux

L0 Member

Hi team,

I am using GP (build # PanGPLinux-5.2.6-c18 ) on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

I am unable to connect to VPN and get the following error:

Gateway XXXXXXXXXXXX: Could not connect to gateway. The device or feature requires a GlobalProtect subscription license. If the issue persists, contact your administrator.

The same credentials work if I try using them on Windows?

Any pointers to solve this issue would really help.

Thank you in advance.

Hi @abhay_saama ,

As the error states, you need a GP license to connect from Linux.  https://docs.paloaltonetworks.com/globalprotect/9-1/globalprotect-admin/globalprotect-overview/about...

Thanks,

Tom
