Some of my teammates have been experiencing issues with the Outlook client on Mac this week and last. It just stops updating with new emails throughout the day. Disconnecting from GlobalProtect VPN or restarting Outlook seems to fix it for a while. Some users are using Monterey 12.6. Also seems reverting to Legacy Outlook resolves the issue entirely, or using a web browser for Outlook has no issues. GlobalProtect client is 5.2.12.
