Remote Desktop Connection to a Global protected PC behind a private Azus Router

L0 Member

Hi I want to run Remote Desktop Connection between 2 computers that both is connected using Global protect, the only difference is that the PC I want to connect to is not in my office but at my home and hence is connected to an Asus Router and a firewall. I have tried to forward port 3389 on my router for the computer that I want to connect to without a good result.

Hello,

I would not enable 3389 from the internet to an internal system, its super dangerous. If both systems are connected using Global Protect, there are probably security policies preventing the connection. Check the logs to see why the traffic is getting blocked.

Regards,
