Selection in a Multiple Gateway Configuration if a gw is at its limit

L1 Bithead

Hi!

I was reading 'Gateway Priority in a Multiple Gateway Configuration'. So far, so good.

My question is - when were running multiple gateways on appliances restricted to i.e. 1000 gp clients. What happens if the best available gateway (highest prio & lowest response time) is at its maximum capacity? Does it 'tell' the client to choose another gateway?

Thank you!

The GP client auto selects the next best option without the user knowing...  if your gateways have the manual option and a gateway is selected by the user that has reached it's limit then a popup message will say as below and auto connect to the next best available if there is more than 1 in the list...
