The GlobalProtect mobile versions available on the App Store and Play Store are different. What is the reason for this?

As the title suggests, the GP mobile app versions differ between the Android Play Store and the iOS App Store. Is there a reason for this?

That is a good question.

"GlobalProtect app release schedule may be different for Windows/macOS and GlobalProtect app running on other platforms (iOS/Android/UWP). Some versions of GlobalProtect apps may be skipped for some of the platforms."
