schedule for rule policy not on time

I set up a schedule for exist rule policy to be enable from 9:00 to 20:00. But I see there is traffic logs at 23.49, it does not terminate session at 20:00.

How to configure it to be enable only until 20:00 ?

Hope you are doing well.


First you need to go to Objects => Schedule and click on add button and enter the detail as shown below and click ok.



Now go to the Policies => Security and select the policy that you want to schedule. Open that policy and go to action tab and apply the schedule.


make sure you configure the NTP on your firewall.

Schedule will not kill long running sessions.

All it does it will not allow to create new sessions outside permitted time frame.
