Tunnel Monitoring , is there any option to failback to the primary tunnel?

L2 Linker

Hello Team

When setting up a tunnel monitor

1)  Can we monitor the remote encryption subnets?

2)  Is there a way to failback to the primary tunnel when it recovers ( after failover to the secondary tunnel )

Thank you

Do you have Palo at both ends?

If yes then set up 2 tunnels between Palos.

Configure IP on all 4 tunnel interfaces.

Configure path monitoring inside static route between tunnel interfaces with identical settings on both ends.

You can even enable ECMP with symmetric return and have both tunnels active at the same time.

Thanks for the reply, Is this not possible with tunnel monitoring?
