Panorama issue after upgrading to 10.2.8-h3. Vsys not showing in interfaces and Vsys pages.

L1 Bithead

Hi i'm experiencing a cosmetic issue after upgrading panorama to 10.2.8-H3.

In Interface page infos related to vsys are not showing up correctly.

Also i cannot see vsys anymore in their own configuration page.

All info are correct if i browse the firewall but as we manage all from panorama this bug is preventing us from modify certain settings.

Has this bug fixed? i haven't found anything in PAN Kb

Hello,

What you are mentioning is a known issue (PAN-251013) and this was fixed on 10.2.8-h4.

Just don't upgrade to the new preferred release of 10.2.9-h1 as the bug is back again

Hello @rhunziker and @robertocol

If you check the launching date for 10.2.9-h1 you will see that was release before 10.2.8-h4 and most probably because of that the issue PAN-251013 it's still in 10.2.9-h1.

If you are looking for 10.2.9-hx that include that fix, you will find it on 10.2.9-h9.

Just found this issue in 10.2.9-h1 myself.  Now that I know it is a known issue I will have to investigate what version to go to.

We had to go to 11.1.4-h1. Just upgraded the panoramas and 1 pair of firewalls last week.

Wow, that is a huge jump to have to make.  There is nothing in the 10.2.x release string that fixes it?

L1 Bithead

Agree.. This is what support told us is the next version this issue was fixed in that would also fix several other issues we were having with FWs disconnecting from Pano for no reason.

There was a mention of a 10.2.9-h4 - But that has since been removed from the site/downloads.

The huge jump didn't seem to be an issue for our upgrade.

Hello @Ed_Brown

If you read one of my above post, you will find that this known issue it's fix also in 10.2.9-h9.

Cheers,
Cosmin
