Subinterfaces in Template Stack

L0 Member

Hi All,

I am trying to create a template stack where I am creating Subinterfaces.

Creating these Subinterfaces on template  #1 which all of the firewalls will get.

I have this one creating another subinterface which only some of the firewalls need.

when i try to create a stack with these 2 templates, Panorama doesn't let me do that. commit/validation fails.

Trimming the validation error but i see this for all interfaces in template #1:

  • localhost.localdomain -> vsys -> vsys1 -> import -> network -> interface 'ethernet1/2.100' is not a valid reference
  • devices -> localhost.localdomain -> template-stack -> CW-PLANT-LRDR-STACK -> config -> devices -> localhost.localdomain -> vsys -> vsys1 -> import -> network -> interface 'ethernet1/2.200' is not a valid reference
  • devices -> localhost.localdomain -> template-stack -> CW-PLANT-LRDR-STACK -> config -> devices -> localhost.localdomain -> vsys -> vsys1 -> import -> network -> interface 'ethernet1/2.300' is not a valid reference
  • devices -> localhost.localdomain -> template-stack -> CW-PLANT-LRDR-STACK -> config -> devices ->

Is there a way to do this where i can merge subinterfaces(from different templates) for the same physical interface?
