Not possible to revert local override on a FW managed by Strata Cloud Manager

L1 Bithead

Dear Palo Alto Community,

the customer made a mistake by configuring on Strata Cloud Manager the wrong IP address on an aggregate interface and because of that change the FW lost the connection to Internet (and also to Strata) causing also a lot of network issues on that specific site.

In order to solve the issue we ovverride locally on the FW the correct IP address for that specific interface and in this way the issue was solved.

After we configured the right address on Strata and pushed this modification again. Then we tried to removed the override but we receive the following error "Object cannot be overridden".

Since this FW is on production we would like to avoid any actions that could provoke a service outage. Do you have some suggestions about how to proceed in order to revert the override safely?

Another question: In Panorama it is possible to perform the push with the "Check FW connectivity to Panorama" option in order to revert the modification immediately in the case of missing connection to Panorama. As far as i know this feature is not included in Strata Cloud Manager, do you confirm it?

Thanks and Regards
