Hi all, may i have some idea how is the device -> software screen working logic? is it the firewall will use the management interface ( as per configure at the service route "use management interface for all" ), to contact updates.paloaltonetworks.com and pull all the information and show on the screen periodically ? or is Palo alto server will periodically push the update to palo alto firewall ? where i can check this setting ?

The reason of this question is because PA firewall stop showing the latest software since 8 months ago.

Any detail document do explain this and how to troubleshoot it ?

Thank in advance.

Hello @limmengkiat

unlike Antivirus, Applications and Threats... under dynamic updates the software download does not have any configurable schedule to check and download a PAN-OS image. To get latest list of available PAN-OS images you will have to press "Check Now" located in the bottom left corner. After you press "Check Now", you should see a complete list.

Kind Regards

Pavel
